What is business leasing?
K
L

Business leasing or, to be more specific, business contract hire (BCH) is a type of lease agreement available to sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and LLPs.

In simple terms, BCH is a long-term rental agreement that typically lasts two to four years. During that period, the business pays fixed monthly payments to operate the vehicle. Once the deal has ended, the car is returned, with no ownership option typically available to the leasing party.

BCH is the primary form of financing we provide with our fleet solutions service. The financial flexibility and short-term nature of a BCH agreement are highly popular with businesses looking to efficiently manage their vehicle fleet without the financial and administrative burdens of ownership.

Do you offer any other types of business finance?
K
L

Virtually all of the acquisition services we offer are facilitated by business contract hire, but in some instances, we can offer other types of business finance including:

  • Finance lease.
  • Contract purchase.
  • Lease purchase.

Please don’t hesitate to ask about any of these alternative funding options when you speak to us.

What is salary sacrifice?
K
L

A salary sacrifice scheme offers employees the ability to lease a hybrid or electric vehicle through the business using their gross (pre-tax) salary.

The lease is paid for directly out of the employee’s salary before tax, which means the employee pays less tax overall, in turn making the lease cheaper. The lease is also essentially fully catered, with insurance, maintenance, servicing, tyres and breakdown assistance all included in the fixed monthly cost.

In some cases, users can save up to 60% versus the cost of a standard lease.

What fleet services do you offer?
K
L

We offer the following services:

  • Acquisition: we provide a diversified acquisition service that covers all areas of business leasing. We’re equally well-versed in helping small enterprises with small-scale (even individual) fleet options and larger corporate entities with strategic fleets. Essentially, whatever your acquisition requirements are as a business, we can help.
  • Salary sacrifice: fully managed salary sacrifice schemes that can either support or replace your current fleet infrastructure.
  • Fleet audits: a specialist audit service that carries out a granular assessment of existing fleet infrastructure, with the goal being to analyse and optimise those fleet processes across key areas of cost, compliance and efficiency.

Do you offer fleet management services?

Currently, we are an acquisition-focused business leasing and fleet specialist with no fleet management resource.

This, however, is something we’re exploring with a view to providing comprehensive fleet management provisions in the future.
